Advent Door 2 - Gucci Première Eau de Parfum

Christmas seems to be when I get gifted the most perfume, its an easy gift for people to get so this means that I've ended up with quite a collection . I thought I would go through what I've got and pick out some of my favourites that would make great gifts this year!

First up is Gucci Première. We've all seen the adverts with the GORGEOUS Blake Lively looking stunning in old hollywood glamour. I was kinda hoping that by wearing this I would become Blake, even having her hair would do but sadly I did not :(

I shall do my best to describe the smell, just wish this could be a scratch and sniff style blog to help me out. Première is quite a grown up floral scent, with orange blossom and bergamot. Its a very clean perfume, one that I reach for either when I'm going out, or if I need a bit of kick ass courage for work.

The bottle is gold tinted glass, and it has the traditional Gucci charms.

This is the more high end when it comes to perfume gifts, but if you want a little deal, its actually cheaper to spoil some one and buy this gift wrapped from Boots for £53, or get the same bottle unwrapped for £63.50! Bargain as far as I'm concerned.

Have you tried the Gucci perfume? What do you think of Blake? xx

Marc Jacobs Dot

Afternoon lovelies,

Over the year's I've gathered quite a collection of fragrances, I love how they look in my bathroom, and I do wear them all (not at once, obviously) but my go to brand is Marc Jacobs.

I adore Daisy and Lola so when my mum asked me what I wanted them to pick up for me from Duty Free on their holiday, I knew I had to add Dot.

Dot is inspired by Marcs love for polka dots, although unless you know this, its easy to think it relates to ladybirds, especially with the packaging, the signiture oversize top is so cute!

The perfume itself is a very floral affair, with the initial notes being quite fruity, this warms to a more floral scent with jasmine and orange blossom. Considering this was released as a summer fragrance, its more of an evening scent, but I think I will get more wear out of it over the autumn and into the winter.

It's an Eau de Parfum so it's a lot stronger then an Eau de Toilette, so you only need a very little bit before it becomes overpowering - I can't wait for them to release this as an Eau de Toilette as I suspect that will be a lot fresher then this one.

You can pick Dot up from any perfume shop, however if you buy it from Boots or Boots.com then you recieve a free gift. Mine is the 50ml bottle and cost £47.00, but it also comes in 30ml and 100ml.

Have you tried Dot yet?

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh

Morning all, hope you well, I'm currently relaxing at my parents.

Today my thoughts turned to Christmas, can you believe that it is just over 60 sleeps until Christmas (not that I'm counting of anything!

I have a lot of perfume and have been collecting them for quite some time. It's often the go to as a present that my family get me. This perfume was one I got in the summer as a gift from my parents.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh is the summer version of Marc Jacobs Daisy. This is a floral perfume which smells of Roses and Apple Blossom. With the combinations of elements in this perfume, it could be over powering but it really isn't which makes it a great get up and go fragrance.

Like its big sister, Daisy Eau So Fresh has the ever so cute daisy topper which really makes it stand out on my shelf.

You can get the 75ml bottle for £47.50, but this will last a long while and a little bit really does go a long way!

So, there is is, my first suggestion for Christmas lists! Wt'hat do you think? What's on your list?

Thanks for reading xx
