What's New - Boohoo Fit

Boohoo Fit

Boohoo Fit by knickersandnails on Polyvore

January, the month of diets, dumbbells and new gym kit. I love buying new clothes to get me into the gym mood but I find that it's incredibly expensive! I know some people love buying high end brands, but I just want to be comfortable and to not look hideous. I saw Boohoo had launched their own fitness range on their Instagram page on Sunday evening so I hot footed it over to check it out and I must say I am impressed!

The range is a mix of leggings, hoodies and crop tops. Now I won't be bothering with the crop tops and no one in the gym needs to see all of my belly bouncing about but they are still cute. I love the designs on the leggings, lots of graphic detailing, side panels and a mix of bright colours and interesting prints, I quite like the Get Fit Leggings.

The range of hoodies are a mix of cropped and longline - personally the cropped ones are something I would like to layer over tops during a warm up or travelling too and from the gym.

All of the clothing in the collection is under the £20 mark which is awesome, meaning you can get an outfit for under £35! Head over to Boohoo to check out the rest of the collection.

What bits would you pick? xx

#Bigblogmasproject2014 Day 18 - Xmas Outfits from @Boohoo

Xmas Outfits from Boohoo

So close to the holidays!!!!! I'm literally counting down the hours now. With only a week to go, one thing that I keep thinking about is what I need to pack whilst travelling around this Christmas. I tend to not really dress up too much over the xmas season, there is too much eating and and chillding out to need overly fancy outfits so the casual style of Boohoo is perfect.

I've picked a range of midi skirts as they are appropriate for most occasions, can easily be dressed up or down and are still flattering, even with a Christmas food baby! Thrown over the top is the obligitory Xmas jumper, I love this one for Xmas eve!

A couple of different dresses to throw on when a dress is needed, but not one that can't be layered under other clothes and even a casual tshirt dress for slobbing out infront of the tv with a pair of leggings or disco pants (does anyone still wear theirs?!)

These are just a few of the bits I might have to pick up or pack into my bag - pop over to Boohoo to have a look, hurry though as delivery before Christmas ends soon.

What bits would you pick? What do you normally wear over the Christmas Period?

Boohoo Size 14-16 Summer Sale

Boohoo Size 14-16 Summer Sale

Woohoo Sale shopping! This week I've kinda been a bit obsessed, I seem to look at every email and every tweet and I have no idea why! But I've found quite a lot that I need  want, I'm hoping by wishlisting I can avoid spending any more money until later in the month.

Boohoo have a really good sale at the moment, with up to 60% off a lot of their items which are perfect for summer. I've chosen to do all 14-16 items as it can be harder to find stuff when you're bigger, I'm still building up a bank of size 14/16 fashion bloggers so if you have any then let me know!

All of the items are bits that I would wear all summer and into Autumn. I love the sheer mesh skirt, teamed with a white top and the denim bomber jacket. The skirt would be perfect for work as well as  drinks with chunky sandals. I adore the mint shift from the 16-24 range, it also comes in lavender and cream. Finally I need a kimono in my life, something like this that can be thrown on to most outfits!

Those are just some of my picks, I could sit and look through the site all day but I would be very poor!

What do you think of my picks? Can you recommend any size 14/16 fashion bloggers? xx

WIWT - Electric Blue Check

Cobalt Jumper - Primark
Boots - New Look (Old)
Stupid Grin - Priceless

I'm not a fashion blogger, but I'm slowly getting used to taking pictures, please bear with me but I'm enjoying showing what I wear.

This little outfit is one of my favourites at the moment - I've fallen completely in love with check, tartan, anything! I'm constantly pinning checked outfits or items to my Pinterst, even looking at it for home decor inspiration!

So, last month I decided to pick up some bits from Boohoo. I've never shopped at Boohoo, purely for the fact that everything looks too short for the less slim, tall ladies of the world, no one needs to see my arse on display! I picked the check smock dress as I liked the shape of it. It sits nicely at the waist and then flares out over tummy and stops just above the knee. I was worried that it would be slightly shorter at the back due to my sticky out booty - however it actually sat lower there. I wore it with this cobal blue crop jumper from Primark as the dress is sleeveless. Teamed with black tights and boots, it was a super comfy outfit for work.

Now I need to go and find other ways to wear this, I'm thinking a white shirt underneath and some different coloured jumpers on top, look out for more outfit posts! How would you wear this? xx

Wishlist - Boohoo Urban English Collection

Boohoo Urban English

I often create wishlists on Polyvore and then forget about them because I don't seem to get a great response to these types of posts but I love them!

When the email popped into my inbox featuring Boohoo bits I decided that I needed to check them out. I've looked and wanted for a long time, but annoyingly their clothes seem a bit to short & no one wants to see a fat girl in a skinny girls dress but a lot of the new collections are featuring longer, midi length items!!

So here are my picks from the Urban English collection, a mix of check, tweed and knit to give a warm, grungy feel to autumn outfits. I love the check swing dress, it looks so comfy, especially to hide autumn food babies! The red and grey check skirts are perfect for work, plus I could wear them at the weekend as well with chunky ankle boots and socks. The coat is PU sleeved and just looks awesome for wrapping up warm, espescially if mixed with the faux fur stole, this year I will buy one of these!

I have actually placed my first EVER Boohoo order for the check smock dress and another dress, now to hunt out some cut out boots to wear this autumn/winter!

Which bits would you pick? Do you want to see outfit pictures with these items? xx
