Finally, we have some sun shine! Spring is really kicking in, the sun has been out all day and it's making me want to buy lots of new make up! So this week I've picked out a few old bits with a mixture of the new to my collection bits.

A new base in the form of Maybelline Dream Flawless Foundation in Ivory - I've used this a couple of times and so far I am impressed with the light coverage and feel on the skin, a full review soon! The eye bags are bag with a vengeance at the moment, so they need a bit of concealing and brightening from Benefit's Fake Up in 01 light. Colour on the cheeks from a new product, Hourglass Dim Infusion. I picked this up from a blog sale a couple of weeks ago; it’s such a nice, coral colour, perfect as the weather gets warmer.

Brows from the usual suspect, Anastasia Dip Brow, can't beat it at the moment. On the eyes, two new colours from Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo, in Creamy Beige and On & on Bronze. Both of these are lovely base colours or on their own, I like to blend them into the crease with the rest of the eye nude. Liner is an old favourite, Laura Mercier is Espresso, and it’s quick and easy to throw on, even for those who are cack handed like myself! Lashes are another new, Benefit Roller Lash; I've fallen in love and already purchased the full size!

So those are a few new bits for this week - keep a look out for further full reviews.

What are you using this week? Have you fallen in love with Roller lash as well?

My Make up Bag #6

Now the weather is slowly getting warmer, the bits that I've been picking have changed a little, not a great deal as really I'm quite lazy but there is something about bringing out much loved 'Spring' appropriate items.

As a base this week, I've reached for Benefit's Big Easy as it's light and gives a good finish, plus it lasts well without being too heavy. Concealer is a new tube of Rimmel's Wake Me Up concealer, although I'm kinda falling out of love with it, no idea why but I'm just not feeling it at the moment. To add colour is Benefit's 10, a light bronze/highlight combo that is great for this time of year.

Moving onto peepers and brows are still ruled by Dipbrow from Anastasia, my love for this keeps growing. Eye base is Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permenant Taupe, this is more as a base as I'm loving mixing it up with different palettes as the moment. Liner, and two choices. For lazy mornings its Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Stag, but if I have a bit more time then Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Caviar Ink will be flicked on. Finally, lashes from Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam, can't beat this for MASSIVE lashes without the price tag.

Fingers crossed this make up will last me well as I need it to, lots of exciting things happening at work and there's nothing like having good make up on your face to give you a confidence boost.

I'd love to know what you think of any of these products, what's in your make up bag this week and whether you like reading these sorts of posts!

My Make up Bag #5

Some times with blogging you just find yourself not really wanting to sit down and write about the things you have but a quick refresh with some new bits from Boots and the odd blogsale and I can't wait to get writing again! Plus I had a crap week at school, lots of things went wrong so I a lot few new bits were obviously needed!

For this weeks base I've picked an old favourite, Maybelline's Superstay 24hr Foundation as I need a bit more coverage at the, more of a confidence boost then anything. Concealer not in the picture is the usual Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer although I am on the hunt for a new one as I'm finding it a bit cakey at the moment. Now spring has almost sprung, I want to add a bit of warmth back in before I start reaching for the fake tan so in my Boots splurge I picked up Soap & Glory's Solar Powder after reading lots of reviews. For a pop of brightness I picked up my first ever Tarte Amazon Clay blush from a blog sale, the aptly named Blushing Bride, it's my new love.

Onto eyes and this week I'm just going to play with Soap & Glory's Supercat black liner, I'm always trying to master the perfect black line. Eye shadow will probably be different each day, but I'm tempted to try out the Bourjois Colourband, I've picked up three so keep a look out for them. Lashes are from my latest newbie, Benefit's Rollerlash. I've loved using this since I used the sample from the Elle magazine last month so I had to pick up the full size. Not pictured is my Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade, can't live without it.

I'm sure these will get mixed up day to day as well, I've got a few other bits and pieces I want to use but I will report back.

Anywhoo, now to get on with some more blogging, its so nice to have my mojo back!

What bits are you using this week? Have you tried any of my picks? Leave your comments in the box below!

My Make Up Bag #4

Hellooo lovely people, I hope you've had a wonderful week - I can't believe we're already back to another Monday already, it’s been a mad busy weekend but it's nice to spend some time being busy.

Make up this week is a lot of high street make up, it’s nice to use a lot of my old favourites.

Base this week is a combination of two Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundations in Soft Beige & Ivory. These two mixed together are the perfect tone for me at the moment, not too dark but not to ghostly for my current skin tone. Concealer is Wake Me Up from Rimmel, love this stuff! Cheeks are a combination of Rimmel Stay Blushed (sensing a bit of brand love!) and Collection Bronze Glow, I think this was from a Glossybox so I've not tried it but a quick swatch says it’s just enough to warm up my face a bit.

My love for Anastasia Dip Brow is still going strong, I think I need to review it soon really but I haven't stopped using it. Shadow this week is MUA's Heaven & Earth Palette; I forgot how good the shadows are in this. Liner is a black gel from No 7, this was my first foray into gel liner many years ago and it’s about time it got some love again. Lashes this week come in the shape of Benefit's They're Real mascara, after my love for Roller Mascara last week it's nice to be using my other favourite mascara.

Those are my picks this week, what bits would you pick out of my selection? What are you using this week?

My Make Up Bag #3

I've had a stinking cold for most of this week so the thought of putting make up on hasn't been high on my list - now that’s going away I feel more like making an effort then I have done last week.

This week I've picked out lots of bits as well as a newbie. For base I've gone for a combination of Benefit's Porefessional and Big Easy in Light. To hide my poor, red nose I'm still loving Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer. A quick rummage in my stash and I've found my favourite cream blush, Topshop's Cream Blush in Head over Heels, I'd forgotten about this and teamed with Hoola to add a bit of warmth and colour back into my skin.

Brows have been re-shaped thanks to a weekend trip to the threading ladies in town; does anyone else feel human when their brows are back in shape? To keep them looking good, I'm using Anastasia Dip Brow in Soft Brown as it is my current favourite! Liner is Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl in Coco Bean. Lashes are thanks to Benefit Roller Lash mascara - I've tried this over the weekend thanks to the sample from Elle and I am currently impressed.

The week looks like the quiet before the storm of parents evening and class assemblies so I'm looking forward to getting to wear nice make up.

What have you picked this week?

My Make Up Bag #2

Finally I have my Big Girl camera back working and I got a tad snap happy this week but I have lots of lovely things I wanted to show you. My make-up choices this week really reflect how I'm feeling at the moment - I'm full of cold and so my skin is looking very sorry for itself and is not playing ball.

This week I've picked two bases dependent on skin days. Benefit Porefessional teamed with Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation for days when I can be bothered to apply a proper base and have a little more time in the morning. For days when I just can't be bothered, Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturiser as it gives just a tint to the skin without full coverage, plus it helps my poor, dehydrated skin around my nose. Concealer is my favourite from Rimmel, the Wake Me Up concealer is amazing and perfect for bag and break outs.

Onto eyes and I'm using a mix of a palettes, I can't choose just one as I've got a few new ones to play with thanks to the boy. Brows are my new go to favourite of Anastasia Dip Brow as it holds and fills my brows without looking over done. Mascara is Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro for full lashes. When I can be bothered, I will try to us Collection's Fast Stroke liner to add a bit of line to the upper lashes but this will depend on time and laziness factor in the mornings.

This is what I've got in my make-up bag this week; I'd love to know what you're using this week.

My Make up Bag #1

Why is the first week back at work after the new year always the most hectic week of the year! I've felt exhausted all week and just didn't get a chance to do anything other then get a head with work for school. Not only that but I have managed to leave my camera cable at my parents so these photos are off my phone, normal photography shall resume next week when I get the cable back.

So this feature has had a bit of a rejig, I've changed the name but the idea is still the same, I quick look at what I'm using this week, I love looking in other peoples make up bags so it's nice to share!

Any way, back to this weeks make up - I've picked lots of bits to help get me through the week, some old favourites and some that I'm still trying to master. Starting with base and its Rimmel Fix & Perfect to keep things in place, nothing worse then your face ending up sliding off during the day. On top of that Rimmel's Wake me Up foundation & Concealor in True Ivory to hopefully look awake and natural. As the foundation leaves dewy skin, I want to keep the natural softness with my make up & have picked Topshop's Cream Blush in Flush, I haven't used this in ages so I will be nice to rock it again. Teamed with this is MAC Harmony blush to contour and warm up my ghostly complexion.

On to eyes and my current go to for brows in Anastasia Brow Dip, nothing can beat this at the moment. Eyes is my go to, throw on palette, Naked Basics 2, love it for speed in the morning. On top of that I'm trying to master Benefit's They're Real Push up liner, nothing like a thin line to really define the eyes. Finishing off with my No. 1 Mascara, Rimmel's Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara, I would go as far as saying this is my Holygrail mascara.

Those are my picks for the week, I'm sure there will be a FOTD on Instagram with the different Lipcolours of the week so keep a look out for those.

What bits are in your make up back this week? xx

#BigBlogmasproject2014 Day 17 - Christmas Drinks FOTD

Time is racing now - only 3 days left at school until the holidays and really it can't come fast enough - only the panto and Christmas Dinner to get through! Last Friday, a couple of the lovelies from work got together for some Christmas drinks and I threw this on after work on top of what I already had on.

Base was L'oreal True Match which is a mix of Ivory and True Beige as its the only way to get a true enough colour for my skin plus this leaves a great base that lasts, mixed with a little Benefit That Girl for extra staying power. Those end of term eye bags are covered with Benefit's Fake Up - so well loved that I need to pick up a new one.

Onto the eyes and a new product in the shape of Naked 2 - I adore the neutral colours and the little palette is perfect for in my make up bag to carry around. Brows took shape with the gorgeous Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade, the perfect shade for me and it's love really, a good brow day most days now! Lashes thanks to Rimmel Scandaleyes, love it!

Cheeks and lips now - Cheeks with Benefit's Dallas to give a bit of warm flush, I'm no good with pink blushes but this is awesome, On the lips its Rimmel's Moisture Renew in Sloane's Plum, a gorgeous plum colour that is hydrating and looks lovely!

So that's what I threw on my face for the day and some drinks, what do you think? What are you wearing at the moment? xx

#BigBlogmasproject2014 Day 1 - Xmas Shopping FOTD

I'm so excited now its December as I love this month for playing with make up, so what better way to kick off the Bigblogmasproject2014 then with a FOTD!

I wore this recently for heading out Xmas shopping, it was quick and easy and didn't look overly done.

For base it was a mix of the two Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude in Soft Beige and Ivory. Concealer was Bobbi Brown creamy concealor. Onto eyes and I used Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky all over before using Mac Cork in the crease. Liner was Espresso by Laura Mercier. Mascara was Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro. Brows are Benefit Browzing. On the cheeks for some colour is Sleek's Rose Gold. Onto lips and this is Maybelline's Colour Drama pencil in Keep it Classy which stays put for the day but adds a bit of winter berryness.

I love simple make up like this for a day out as it needs no touching up, but I can't wait to ramp up the glitter a bit this month!

What do you think of my Xmas Shopping FOTD? xx

This Week - The Make up #13

How is it already November? It seems like the weeks left of this year are quickly fading and I'm running out of time to get everything done that I want.

To help combat the lack of time this week, I've picked products that work really quickly and will hopefully help to have more times in the morning.

To get a quick base I'm reaching for my new bottle of Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, I know that this is is such a classic foundation now that will make me look like I've had more sleep then I'm getting at the moment. Coupled with that, to tackle dark circles, Benefits Fake Up concealer as its really quick to swipe on and blend in. To add some colour to the cheeks is an old favourite, Benefit's Coralista for a bit of a fresh, outdoor glow.

Onto eyes and I'm still reaching for Maybellines Colour Tattoo 24Hr in Metalic Pomegranate, blended into the crease and then winged out as its subtle but lovely. A slick of liner from Collection to add a bit of definition. Lashes courtesy of Rimmel's Scandaleyes Retro Glam, another repurchase but one that I adore for full, fanned out lashes. Not pictured because it's really grubby is my very well used Browzing from Benefit.

So that's it for this week, quick products to hoplefully make life a bit easier and quicker this week. Oh and a bonus pictures of my Photographer's Assistant!

What have you been using this week? xx

This Week - The Make Up #12

Errr,,,,hi,,,,, remember me?! I'm not going to say sorry for not blogging, I've needed the time to sort a lot of stuff out and decide if I want to be blogging still, and I really do, just need to not put the pressure on myself to blog regularly.

I've had a massive sort out of my make up and had a real clear out which has uncovered some great forgotten favourites as well as some bits that I kinda forgot that I had bought!

For bases this week, my skin needs a little bit of coverage so I've picked up Rimmel's new Lasting Finish in Ivory. To add a bit of colour I've reached for Benefit's Hervana as its gorgeously light and just caught in the wind glowy.

On the eyes it's all about liner and smoked out colour, so using up the liner from Company and Maybelline's Metallic Pomegranite in the crease and corner. Lashes are from Origins, I've never tried their make up but I do adore their skin care.

I'm trying to use lip colours this Autumn so in a bid to get the 'Kylie Jenner' lip I've picked out Kate Moss for Rimmel in 03 and a nude gloss from Maybelline. If the lips stay this colour then I will be amazed as I normally forget.

Over all, not many changes , but its nice to pick out some old bits as well as some new bits. Have you tried any of these? What have you picked this week? xx

This Week - The Make Up #11

Hello strangers, September hasn't been a good month for blogging but I'm kicking back off with another weekly make up pick.

This week I've picked bits which work with the up and down weather, products that stay in place, add a bit of sun kissed glow as well as being easy to throw on when its dark now in the morning.

For face I've picked Rimmel Stay Matte foundation. I have this little mini to use up and its perfect as it stays in place on the skin all day without being cakey. To warm it up I picked Dallas from Benefit to add some colour without being overly bronzed. On the cheeks I've got the Rimmel Stay Blushed in Pop of Pink.

On the eyes I've picked Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permenant Taupe to wear on its own or layered under the colours on the Sephora Palette. Liner is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Liner in Bronze. I forgot to take a picture of mascara but I picked Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof.

I've added in the lip product from Benefit, I've had Coralista for ages but always forget about it, if I remember to use it them I will be impressed!

Overall lots of high street picks this week, its nice to pick through more available pieces for every day use and save the more expensive for special occasions for once.

Which of these bits have you used? xx

This Week - The Make Up # 10

I feel that this should be labelled the back to school edit as tomorrow I'm back at work after 6 weeks off. I'm not sure if I remember how to apply make up after having so much time off, most days have consisted of a little bit of mascara and if the world is lucky then I've filled in my brows. So I've picked make up that is foolproof at 6am tomorrow morning!

This week I've decided to be kind to my skin and reach for Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, just a little tint of colour and a small amount of coverage, this is easy to throw on in the morning and leaves a lovely summer glow. Paired with that I've picked Bobbi Brown Colour Corrector and Concealer as I know that there will be a few dark circles come Friday. To keep some summer colour I've picked Mac Harmony blush.

Moving on to eyes, I've got my regular Benefit Browzing which is an oldie but a goodie. After a little clear out I've rediscovered a mini Benefit They're Real which I adore and can't wait to use. I forgot to photo it but I'm still in love with my Bobbi Brown Sand Palette so I'm going to keep using that. Finally a slick of Rimmel Kohl in Brown and a Scandaleyes on the bottom lash line.

I'm hoping to get a FOTD post up during so keep a look out for that, but now I need to go and get sorted for tomorrow.

Have you used any of these products before? What are you wearing this week? xx
