Advent Door 8 - MAC Starter Pallette

Evening all, hope your well and the week hasn't been too bad!


A few weeks a go I treated myself to my first ever MAC eyeshadow and palette. I was super excited and couldn't wait for Debenhams to send them!

The colours I chose are two that I see a lot in YouTube videos, especially Allthatglitters21 and Pixiwoo.

Satin Taupe and Woodwinked

Top Satin Taupe, Bottom Woodwinked

Woodwinked is a metallic bronze eye-shadow which gives a nice pearl finish. It looks great as an all over eye colour or as a change to dark crease colour, or to add a pop of colour along the lower lash line.


Satin Taupe is a gorgeous taupe colour with a subtle shimmer. It's very pigmented in the pan and on my finger, however it blends out very subtle across the eye. Laura from Lolipop21 used this a lot and I fell in love then and now I can afford nice things this was first on my list.


For me these are my starter colours before I branch out further, and as they were only £8.07 in the Debenhams sale, I couldnt really refuse. What's great is that they are still on sale so why not grab some for yourself!
