NOTD - China Glaze Trendsetter

Afternoon lovelies, hope your enjoying the weekend, can't believe how dark its getting!

Today I bring you another polish from the Metro Collection, Trendsetter .

With Flash
Without Flash in Artificial light

Trendsetter is a yellow toned gold with very faint traces of gold glitter in it. It's one of those not quite gold but not quite a yellow coloured polish, great for the in between season at the moment!

As with most China Glaze, the formula was nice and thick, which meant I was able to get a good coverage in two coats. Tip wear is a real issue for China Glaze polishes but a quick coat of Seche Vite soon sorts this out!

Removal was great, really easy with no staining which is a god send at the moment as I have run out of my base coat, need to pop and get some more!!

I really love China Glaze, I think their colour choices are spot on for the season, and I can't wait to show you the colours for winter!

What do you think, an interesting colour? What are your views in China Glaze?

NOTD - China Glaze Street Chic

Morning all, hope your well and having a good Monday. I'm enjoying it as its my first day of half term and I'm heading up to my parents house for a few days, need some looking after!!

Today I bring you a gorgeous colour from the Chins Glaze Metro Collection. Street Chic is a very simple brown, there isn't really any other way to describe it!
Its a nice creme polish that gave good coverage in 2 coats and lasted well over 5 days. It suffered a bit on my little finger as I think my Seche Vite is getting a bit old and gloopy, any tips for thinning it out?

Really this is a simple brown, great for Autumn and it will go with a whole range of outfits! What do you think?

NOTD - China Glaze Loft-y Ambitions

Evening all, hope your well and Monday hasn't been too challenging for you.

Today I bring you yet another polish from the China Glaze Metro Collection which is the collection for Autumn.

Loft-y Ambition is a blackened cherry red with almost a brown under-tone. In the bottle I dismissed this as just being a simple brown, a bit like the leaves in Autumn.

However on the nails, this is transformed into a beautiful black cherry.

The formula is a nice consistency, with good coverage in one coat, however i,t did need a second coat just to go over the bits that I missed in my haste on Saturday night!

Under a flash it appears very burgundy which was quite a surprise.

I actually really like this, I tried to ignore it in my pile of untrieds, but I honestly have no others like this, if you can find me a dupe I will be over the moon!

I will try and get a picture of this in normal light as soon as possible but my camera is playing up.

What do you think, a yummy colour or what!?

NOTD: China Glaze Traffic Jam

Evening everyone, hope you had a lovely weekend, and Monday wasn't too much of a bad day!

Today I bring you another China Glaze polish from the Metro Collection, this time it's Traffic Jam.

With Flash
Without Flash Low Light
Day Light, No Flash

This polish has been so hard to photograph! Depending on the light it looks totally different! In Bright light and under a flash it comes out bright pink, under low light it is a blue based pink, almost magenta in colour, and finally in daylight it looks like a pink based purple!

So it's a real traffic stopper, not quite knowing what colour it truly is but |I really like it! This is not one of my favourite from the collection, but I think that is because it is more pink then I would like!

What do you think? Too pink or not?

NOTD: China Glaze Urban Night

Afternoon all, hope your well. If your reading this then it means my post worked, and I am currently on a family day in London with my Mum, Brother, Sister and the Boyfriend!

Today's nail is from the China Glaze Metro collection which is their Autumn '11 collection inspired by the streets of New York.

Urban Night is a gorgeous red toned purple, which is ideal for the Vampy look.
With Flash

In natural light it is a real dark purple, kinda reminding me of OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark, but not as deep. With the flash on you can really see the red/pink in the colour, a truly great colour!

Without Flash
It gives a high shine finish without a topcoat, and lasted for nearly a week without needing to be touched up!

I really didn't want to take this polish off, but I had to :(

The colours from the Metro Collection are great for this Season, China Glaze produce some lovely polishes!

What do you think of this colour, would you wear it? I will be bringing you more colours shortly but I'm just not ready to rock the glitters just yet!

Thanks for reading xx

NOTD - China Glaze Concreate Catwalk

Evening all, hope you well. I feel like I have so much to do and so little time, especially now I'm back at work again :(

Being back at school means that we are on the count down to our next half term, and it also means it's going to get harder to make an effort in school as it gets colder and darker. But I do live this term as Christmas is at the end, and I can start wearing my Autumn collections.

One such collection is the China Glaze metro collection. A blend of urban colours and muted glitters, it's a great autumn collection.

From this I've been wearing Concrete Catwalk which is a bluey grey colour, which reminds me of Tarmac.

In Natural Light, No Flash

As with all of the China Glaze polishes I have tried, this one applies like a dream, and was opaque in two coats with no need for a top coat. It wore really well and only started to chip after a week!

I have a few more colours from this collection to show you, including some glitter!!
